The 90s are Alive in Deutschland

I was checking out at the grocery store when UB40’s “The Way You do the Things You Do” came on.  Then,  a pack of teenagers zipped down the main aisle on rollerblades.  They were the second group of rollerblading kids I saw today.

Also, an eighth-grader “corrected” my pronunciation of Tupac today.  As if! 😉

Geez Frau Daquila, it’s Tüpac. Just like Bürger King. DOY.

  2. Ohhh the love of 90s music in Germany. Sometimes listening to cover bands is so very painful. There was one in Darmstadt who always sang beastie boys songs – only 70% or so of the lyrics were correct 🙂 It was actually pretty amusing!
